Boas and Our Beach

I'm so glad I have a great camera to capture those special moments with Gabriella.  Yesterday we had a little "photo shoot".  I will never know enough about photography, specifically lighting, to be a photographer but I like trying.

Neal's beach mural is beautiful and has made the former "frog" room a perfect little girl's room.  So we took some pictures of her on the BEACH!!!

   And what little girl doesn't need       pink boas and big bows?!      

Facebook Giveaways

I have discovered a really cool thing on Facebook.  I did not realize how many "vendors" are on facebook and how they advertise what they sell.  I've found some great photography sites and some great sites for backdrops and props to use when taking those perfect pictures of my baby girl!!  I've also found some great "baby bling" sites and am loving the contests they sponsor.  Entering the contests is fairly easy so I'm going to share a link to the one I'm working on now.

WOW!!! On the date of my last post, my daughter went into labor....so now I have to change my profile!  lol!!

Photoshop

Just playing around with Photoshop.  Wish I knew more about this great program but there is so much to learn!!



Love working with selective coloring in Photoshop.  I don't even know if that is what it is called!!

January is over and done with so here are my last 2 layouts for my 365.

I am really enjoying this project since I've made a few adjustments to make it easier this year.  Also,  I've got lots of baby pictures to share and she is not even born yet.

Since I last posted, we had Sonya's baby shower, Rico proposed to her, we thought she was in labor....but she wasn't and we are just about done with Gabi Jo's room.  If she was to go into labor today, Gabi Jo would have her room and a very nice one at that.  Neal will put the finishing touches on the art in her room within the next few days.  

 

Now the waiting begins!!
