I couldn't wait to see Santa! Well, I couldn't wait to see how Gabi would react to Santa. I've got a great friend who fills in for Santa while Santa is busy preparing for the long trip ahead. Russ and Teresa just moved back to Billings but had to get to Austin for their son's graduation. Perfect timing since I really wanted Russ to be Gabi's first Santa. Well the time arrived and although she was scared and we were able to take the traditional crying pics, Russ just let her get comfy. He kinda sat back with her while we were all in the kitchen and before we knew it, she was in his arms. THAT is why I wanted Russ to come see Gabi. HE IS A WONDERFUL SANTA!! Add to that the comfort of our home and it made for many perfect first Santa pictures!
Feliz Navidad my friends!

OMG!! It's December!!!
Oh My!!! It's DECEMBER....and the middle of DECEMBER at that!! OK, so my New Year's resolution should include to blog more often.....not only on this blog but also my school blog. Time just slips away.
OK, so Gabi is just growing!! But with time, she has learned how to really wiggle. It now takes both Mommy and Daddy to dress her! I love her face when she just wiggles and giggles at her parents knowing that they can't pin her down.
Back with Santa pictures later because.....Santa Claus is coming to town!!!

4th of July
I've got to get back to my Hawaii updates but had to share this cutie pie!!
I really loved what the sun did to this picture and with a little dodge and burn work, her face and eyes really stand out.

I guess this will be the page for my pictures. I'm learning how to "process" my pictures and using different actions to make that process easier. I never would have imagined how easy it is to make pictures look just a little better. I am loving ACTIONS!!! Now if I could only remember which ones I've used or at least figure out how to document them.
MCP Facebook Fix Action Set is a cool action that helps you display a before and after shot once you've processed it.

Round 1--Brought to us from Digi Scrap Connect. This is a brand new site and it looks awesome.
Layout (LO) had to have 6 fun facts about your family. Here is mine.
I used Andrea Gold's Euphoria Kit found at GDS.

ADSR Update
WOW!! Where has the time gone. We are now at 6.6 on the ADSR and I've only posted one lo The theme that will run through all the challenges is FAMILY.
6.4 was a challenge because one of us had to create the layout and then send it to the other. The 2nd team member was to add the pictures and journaling. I got the easier of the steps and added pictures and journaling.
Now working on 6.6 although this is an optional one....think I'll do it anyway!
Until next time,
Anna

Super Moon
By now everyone knows about the SUPER MOON and how it will not be this close to the earth for another 18-20 years. Well thanks to MCP Actions and all their fans, I learned a lot about my camera, settings, and my lenses. Here are a couple a few pictures I took from my backyard.
Never would I have thought I could shoot this at with such a quick shutter speed! AND NO TRIPOD!!
Settings: 1/125 - f11 and f16 - ISO 200
Lens: 55-250 @ 200 and 250
Thanks MCP Actions Fans for sharing your settings and ideas!

Spring Break
It's almost the end of my Spring Break and I've enjoyed every minute of it....especially since I've been able to spend lots of time with my Princesa. Gabriella is just growing so very much!!
I have really had fun with my camera and getting some great shots of her. I'm going to start venturing out into the world of shooting in RAW mode....let's see how that goes. For now, here are a couple of update pictures.
I've also been working with some actions that
I've gotten from
photographers and vendors on
Facebook. These actions make
processing pictures so easy
and so much fun!!

“Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes…Anything But A Face!”
I Heart Faces is having it's weekly photo challenge and the theme for this week is "Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes....Anything But a Face!" Well this theme is perfect for one of my faves of Gabriella's little feet. I love the combination of her sweet baby feet next to her daddy's rugged leather jacket.
Click on the link below to look at all the awesome photos!!

Boas and Our Beach
I'm so glad I have a great camera to capture those special moments with Gabriella. Yesterday we had a little "photo shoot". I will never know enough about photography, specifically lighting, to be a photographer but I like trying.
Neal's beach mural is beautiful and has made the former "frog" room a perfect little girl's room. So we took some pictures of her on the BEACH!!!
